What a month!

Year 12/13 A-Level Drama Productions

Blue Remembered Hills by Dennis Potter

The Virtuous Burglar and Trumpets & Raspberries by Dario Fo

A trip to the Opera to see Carmen at the Bristol Hippodrome, the Year 11 BTEC Music concert, A Night at the Musical and three studio productions!

The range of performances that happened in either The Studio or The Auditorium this month were amazing.

Congratulations goes to all the Year 11 BTEC Performing Arts students who completed the Diploma and Certificate courses gaining record results! Their 'A Night at the Musical' was highly successful as they performed extracts and pieces from some well know and some not-so well known musicals.

The Year 11 musicians were not to be out performed as they produced a memorable concert in The Auditorium signing off two years of great performances.

Similarly the Year 13 BTEC National Music students again amazed us with their musical diversity and talent.

2008 - 2010

Completing a busy month and closing Term 5 were the combined efforts of the Year 12 and Year 13 Drama students performing their Unit 2 performances to packed crowds in The Studio.

This was a fitting end to such a packed month. All the students have done incredibly well with all of the performances maintaining such a high standard.

It has been a pleasure to work with them and we wish them all the success in their summer examinations and future careers and look forward to welcoming some of them back next year.
