July 2009:
This year's Lower School production A Midsummer Night's Dream was another example of outstanding students performing to their best ability. This was the second summer show that we have done following the success of Hamlet last summer.

Year 13 BTEC National Music workshop with Dan Moriyama ...
The Year 13 BTEC Music group took part in a workshop with Dan Moriyama on Monday 15th March. Dan’s hugely varied musical career has included working as both a Classical and Jazz pianist, working on the TV show the X Factor and fronting his own band Tomokiyo http://www.myspace.com/tomokiyo.

Year 13 Drama (Figuratively Speaking) returned to The Studio with their devised pieces inspired by Luigi Pirandello's Six Characters ion Search of an Author.
Then, as part of the 'Endgames' festival transferred the work to 'The Egg' at Bath Theatre Royal. These were hugely successful and marked a fitting end to this company's time ...

April 2010:
Auditions for this summer's Lower School show Romeo & Juliet (The Muscial) are on the following dates: Year 10 Thursday 22nd April; Year 9 Friday 23rd April; Year 8 Monday 26th April and Year 7 Tuesday 27th April. These will be held in M15 at lunchtime.

Romeo & Juliet (The Muscial) The cast list is now up and rehearsals begin on Tuesday 8th June in M15 at 3.30pm. If you have not got a script then collect one from Miss H! There is a singing rehearsal schedule on the notice borad outside M03 and all schedules will be posted here on the website shortly.

Following our application at the end of 2009 we have just found out that we have received 'Artsmark Gold'. In 2007 we were designated 'Artsmark Silver' and now three years later we have achieved the highest award - 'Gold'.
We are very proud of this achievement and is testament to all of the positive work that goes on in Drama, Music, Dance and Art.
