July 2010:
Shakespeare 4 Kidz: Romeo & Juliet: Congratulations goes to all the students involved in this years Lower School production. This is the third musical shakespeare that we have done and this certainly lived up to expectation. Click on the whole cast picture to read more about the story and see some images from the show.
Year 13 BTEC Music Farewell Gig: What a night of great live music performed by the Year 13 BTEC Musicians. As an added bonus they were joined by the staff: Mrs L on Flute and vocals; Mr G on Piano and Mr C on Guitar and vocals. Hits included The Beatles Back in the USSR, the Stevie Wonder classic Superstitious and the Van Morrison hit Jackie Wilson Said. Alice Nolan took over the ivories on the groups version of Stairway and it has to be said that Andreas would give Mark Knophler a run for his money on Sultans of Swing. A great night and a fitting end to a wonderful two years with them. Click on the picture see highlights from the night and their final BTEC assessed gig. September 2010:
Welcome back to another year with Performing Arts. In just four weeks the new Year 12 group will premier their adaptation of Alfred Bradley's The Wizard of Oz. This year it will form a part of the Calne Music & Arts Festival and we are pleased to be a part of the prestigious local arts festival. We will also be performing a lunchtime concert at Marden House on the Friday. Click on the Arts Festival logo for a look at the full program.
March 2011:
Congratulations to the Year 13 musicians and dancers. Their final performance 'Three of a Kind' was a resounding success! Many thanks goes to Sophie Madle, Kathryn Lockett and Peter Grant for an excellent evening of entertainment!

October 2010:
The 2010 Marden House concert was an absolute success! As part of the annual Calne Music & Arts Festival students from Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 performed an eclectic mix of music for the public at Calne's premier venue, Marden House. What Dorothy Wants was the inaugural performance by the Year 12 Drama group 'Theft of Reality'. And what a performance. Both nights were packed out as the group premiered their adaptation of Alfred Bradley's version of A Wizard of Oz. Click on the picture for the story and images from the production!
Ex-student Rob Long who left John Bentley in 2004 releases his debut album in th USA on February 1st. Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in early February Rob (aka Bobby Long) will promote his album and upcoming US tour. Click on his picture for more information.

December 2010:
Another successful Carol Service was held at Calne's St. Mary's Church on the 14th December. A Huge thank you goes to Kathryn Lockett and Pete Grant for their work leading up to and during the concert. The evening was a delight with a range of carols, readings, the school choir as well as the school band. What a fitting way to take us in to the Christmas hols!
November 2011:
The Year 13 Drama group returned with their thought devised piece 'Crowd Searching'. Performed at The Studio, the group then transferred to Bath Theatre Royal to perform their piece as part of the Endgames Festival. Click on the picture for more information!
January 2011:
CONGRATULATIONS to Peter Grant and his wife Michelle Sheridan on the birth of their baby Girl Nancy Grant. We wish them both well and hope they both get plenty of rest over the coming weeks!
February 2011:
West End Residential - 42 students took to the West End in London for three days of theatrical fun, undertaking workshops at Pinapple Dance Studios, seeing the musical Chicago as well as sampling the sight's of London! Click on the picture for more infomation!
Macbeth - the Musical - Cast List announced! Following a series of successful auditions we have cast this Summer's Musical version of Macbeth. Click on the link for the up-to-date show information, images from rehearsals, schedules and notices!
Ex Student Stuart Marno stars in Teechers at the Wharf Theatre, Devizes. The show runs until Saturday 5th February and tickets are £8/9. Click on the picture to find out more information!
April 2011:
The Year 11 BTEC musicians completed they course with an excellent concert in The Auditorium. A jam-packed evening of entertainment and a full audience were treated to a superb evening. A huge thanks to all involved!
